Hey. My name is Alex, and I’m the main writer for this website. Let me briefly tell you a bit about myself.

When I was younger, I loved playing video games, so much so that I dreamed of making them when I got older. I was a Nintendo kid, and Zelda was my favorite series, with Metroid closely behind. Once I was able to, I got DirectX and did almost nothing with it… It was too hard to wrap my head around.

Fastforward to High School, and I took my first programming class in Visual Basic. Even for a broken language, it was a lot of fun. My desire for developing games was as strong as ever. Later in college I got a computer science degree, which involved a lot of programming. I was never the best in the class, but I really enjoyed it.

I still do enjoy it. A lot. Around 2013 I got into Android development and released two apps. That was awesome, but what was really awesome was starting Unity development around 2015. For years I would learn on and off, but now I have been more than ever. I want to realize my dream of living the game dev life.

This blog is to teach Unity C# development. Not only do I hope it helps you, but I use it as reminders for myself as well. I want to turn it into a great game development resource with much more than just blog articles in the future. So I hope you enjoy what you find here.
